Kila Launches Version 2.0 Custom Running Insoles

June 1, 2026

Kila Insoles has launched Version 2.0 of its custom running insoles, introducing a new model built with NanoPEBA™, a proprietary material based on the same Peba foam technology used in many modern super shoes.

According to the company, the updated insoles are lighter, more responsive, and offer greater energy return than traditional custom orthotics. The product is created using a 3D scan of the runner’s foot captured through an iPhone and is designed to improve fit, gait alignment, and running efficiency.

The launch coincides with the opening of Kila’s new manufacturing facility in San Diego, which the company says will allow for faster production and delivery. British ultrarunner and 2025 UTMB champion Tom Evans is among the athletes who have used Kila insoles in training and competition.
