Brice Partouche joined me on the podcast way back when it was called DFL Before DNF.

I just emerged from 35 episodes in preparation for running Zion 100 and I now was moving into a season of talking founders.  As I was preparing to move to France at the time, I thought it would be interesting to deep dive into SATISFY’s ethos and Brice kindly obliged.

This early podcast episode will forever be one of my favorites.

In this episode, I wanted to call out the number of things we had in common – punk rock, skateboarding, physician dreams, and more.  I promised him that I would round up some Willie Nelson memorabilia to bring to him after I moved to Paris.

I searched far and wide.  I called my friend who plays harmonica for Willie and he didn’t have any old Willie stuff he could part with.

So I found something super interesting.

We still haven’t met up since I moved to Paris a little over a year ago.

But we will someday probably and I’ll give it to him.
