Outrider Running League • Individual Registration

$175.00

NOTE: The fee is for an individual to be placed on a team. It covers both placement and full season participation in Outrider League.

Outrider Running League is a competitive running league that allows teams to run head to head against other teams around the world.

All runners must live in the same area enabling them to run the sanctioned routes.

More about the league here.

——

What do you get for your registration fee?

  • Placement on to a team.

  • League Commissioner • The commissioners job is to oversee all of the referees and competitions to act as final authority in solving problems and providing solutions.

  • Referees • Each head to head to competition (team of 3 vs team of 3) will be monitored by a referee who then certifies each run, adds up times, and communicates results to the commissioner.

  • Weekly leaderboards

  • Regular Season with 6 competitions

  • Seeded playoffs with 4 competitions with potential first round byes for top teams.

  • A championship week between the top two teams.

Team Names • Give your team a one word name. We highly recommend buying team uniforms and going all out however you see possible to build your team’s hype.

Those registering as individuals will name their team after placement.

Why is it more expensive for an individual vs. a team?

There is an additional $25 for team placement and the extra work to approve routes per runner.

Route Selection

The route submission and approval process will begin in August with all routes to befinalized one week prior to season kick off.

Teams that live in the same area must select and submit a 10k, 15k, and 30k route to be run weekly.

Routes must be approved by the Commissioner.

As this competition is about speed, we advise selecting routes that are as flat as possible.

Routes with net downhill or on proper tracks will be rejected.

Teams many choose choose road, trail, or any combination of the two.

Weekly Run Submission Process

Borderlands will provide a link for you to upload your runs. You must be able to prove each run on Strava.
