One Year Vision

+ ten Year Vision

One Year

With some luck, our one year plan is conceivable. It’s a stretch, but doable.

Podcast: “Me to We”

We will 10x the Podcast reach through improved content and making it less dependent on Josh and more dependent on a group of personalities.

Update: Borderlands Podcast is now very much Josh AND Brian’s domain. We are going to be bringing on more in the coming months not to overshadow Brian and Josh, but to reach deeper into the culture and heart of trail running.

Events: more + Better

In 2025 Open Range Races will execute a the 3rd Annual Salt Lake Trail Races in partnership with Path Projects. Also, we will announce a new race for Salt Lake County on for fall 2025.

Wylder App

We’ve been developing and beta testing concepts for a new mobile app called Wylder for almost two years now and we are set to release v1.0 2025q1 and v2.0 prior to year end.

Wylder v1.0 helps you host and/or find run clubs and runs.

Robie House

Robie House is a media concept that we will test at WSER 2025. Think College Gameday or Inside the NBA but for running. We are putting together an incredible team of talent and operators to pull of an ambitious event.

Update: We had to pivot as we were not able to raise the money to execute to vision. We will do a paired back version live from Paris Fashion Week. I know, sounds confusing. Hang with us, it actually makes great sense.

Apparel

Borderlands had a great year of selling apparel last year but after Josh moved to France, it became untenable. In 2025, Borderlands is looking for a non-tech apparel company to join on an equity level.

Update: Merch returns June 2025.

TEN YEAR PLAN: This shows you where our head is right now. It’s more about setting the direction of the ship in a general direction and less about the specifics of exacltly how we’ll get there.

We will change

how runners engage with each other

+ the sport in general
