Salomon launches Genesis 2 and S/Lab Genesis 2 on August 1, 2026. Both models will be available on salomon.com and at select retailers beginning August 1, 2026; the Genesis 2 has an MSRP of $150 (available in women's and men's models) and the S/Lab Genesis 2 has an MSRP of $200.
Salomon says the S/Lab Genesis 2 is the second iteration of its ultra-trail shoe, refined for control, durability and long-distance confidence in technical terrain and adds optiFOAM™² in the forefoot; the company cites athlete input including Courtney Dauwalter. The Genesis 2 features a Matryx® upper, high-grip contaGRIP® outsole and a revamped activeCHASSIS™.
