West Coast vs East Coast Trail Running [podcast archives]

Relax.

The goal here is to have fun.

Troy Meadows of the Midpacker Pod joined me last year to talk about the battle of the coasts for trail dominance through difficulty.  I was surprised to get schooled on all the difficult races from north to south on the east coast.

There’s no doubt there is a west coast bias in trail running media.  The most notable media outlets are western in nature – Freetrail, Singletrack, iRunFar.  All of them.

Troy spoke up from his native North Carolina to tell us of the greats, most notably Hellbender.

Enjoy.
