Frédéric Tranchand won the OCC, the 50K final of the UTMB World Series, in Chamonix on August 27, 2026, crossing the finish line in 05:10:08 after a 60-kilometre course with 3,500 metres of elevation gain from Orsières, Switzerland to Chamonix.
The race was Tranchand’s first experience over the 60-kilometre distance and, according to Merrell, the longest race he had ever run; Merrell says he prepared in Chamonix since the beginning of May. Merrell describes the Agility Peak 6 as its most versatile trail shoe, featuring a FloatPro foam midsole, FlexConnect technology and a Vibram Megagrip outsole with Traction Lug; Merrell reported Q2 2026 revenue growth of 11.2% driven by the Agility franchise and lists the shoe at merrell.com and authorised retailers.
