I ran the Dead Horse 50 Miler in Moab as a tune up and check in leading up to the Zion 100 miler.
Even now, almost two years removed from filming this episode of Trail Grit, I miss terribly the red desert of Utah. My family moved to Paris, FR about 14 months ago as I sit and write this – far from the deserts that make my heart beat.
I remember this day clearly and would give anything to go back.
