Here’s a look at the Trail Running drops from July 2025 from the running fashion and premium performance world.

This is a significant month for Trail Running enthusiasts, as we dive into the latest gear and innovations in the Trail Running world.
Hoka Mafate 5
I know, I know. This product technically came out August 1st, but whatever.
The Hoka Mafate line is goated (Greatest of All Time’d) in terms of performance over the years.
Hoka continues to deliver with an updated version in the Mafate 5 that will surely be a solid option for anyone looking to get out. It’s a jack of all trades, consistent and reliable trail crusher.
The Mafate 5 excels in various Trail Running conditions, making it a versatile choice for any avid Trail Running fan.
Comfy and fast. Stable and sturdy.
It’s what you want and it’s not over $200.

Gnuhr Warp Kit Vest | new color
Gnuhr dropped a new colorway in the innovating and eye-catching Warp Kit Vest with a charcoal gray.
The Warp Kit Vest is a super interesting take on a hydration pack, and the knitting contains very few seems and laminations.
The pockets are sewn directly into the fabric, so no zippers or elastic, and plenty of stretch. The idea here is to reduce areas of failure and reduce bounce. I myself just ordered one and am excited to put it to use to see how it holds up.
These packs also look beautiful and futuristic and will feel softer than other packs due to the type of knit.

Keen Seek
Keen unveils their first ever trail runner, the Seek. I want to commend them on a beautiful roll out that had some great creative design by Mac Moss Studio.
The Seek is designed specifically for Trail Running, providing optimal support and comfort for all types of terrain during your Trail Running adventures.
The Seek comes in a few different colorways and has had some good reception. As a brand, Keen is obviously no newcomer to footwear.
Interested to see how these perform and how the brand’s DNA translates to the trail world.

Goldwin 0 Performance Capsule
Goldwin 0, an offshoot of Japanese brand Goldwin, has released their first trail performance-focused capsule.
This capsule is perfect for Trail Running enthusiasts looking for lightweight and breathable options.
Designed by Nur of the aforementioned Gnuhr, Goldwin 0 plays with different shapes, fabrics, and functional aspects.
This new trail ready capsule has a range of 5 pieces: two tops, top bottoms, and a hydration vest.
The collection highlights ventilation, flowy fits, and geologic colorways.

Soar x Altra Trail Race Shorts
The Soar x Altra collab made some waves this month, with 4 pieces comprising the collection.
The Trail Race Shorts are my favorite piece from the collection and a completely new product from Soar.
The Trail Race Shorts are an essential addition to your Trail Running wardrobe, combining comfort and functionality.
The half tights have ample storage at the waistband, including pockets large enough for a flask and pull cords in the back for poles.
Rheon construction improves shock resistance. These are super cool and would make a great option for race day as the integrated built gives the runner more options for storage.
I think we are seeing more and more runners opt to tights because of the pocket accessibility.
.
Hoka x Maap Tecton X2
(hoka.com)
Hoka and Maap (an Australia-based cycling brand) came together for a remake of the Tecton X 2.
For the best Trail Running experience, consider investing in shoes and gear that enhance your performance.
This collab has some super cool design elements that translate really well off the trail.
The Tecton X 2 is also a remarkable shoe and one that holds up against the test of time.
The Tecton X 2 is a must-have for serious Trail Running, offering durability and support on tough trails.

On Ultra Vest Pro
(on.com)
I love the look of this new vest from On.
This vest is ideal for Trail Running, ensuring you stay hydrated and comfortable on your long runs.
Not only is it sleek, but it’s got some performance-forward design elements to keep it fitting well and functional.
The detachable dry bag on the back can act as an extra stuff sack or be removed entirely if you don’t need the extra storage and want to opt for breathability.
As someone who will likely never use a reservoir on a pack for trail races, I love the minimal back.
I also think the white and black colorways go well.
.
Portal Black Lateral Peak T
Portal dropped a black iteration of their flagship performance tee, the Lateral Peak Tee.
The Lateral Peak Tee is designed for Trail Running, focusing on comfort and breathability for your outdoor adventures.
I’ve got this in grey and it fits super well, not to mention the Japanese fabric that’s super soft. Root shoulder construction and a gusseted armpit make arm movement super smooth and easy.
Longer sleeves that go right to the elbow prevents sleeve bunching and just looks better.
Nothing worse than a running shirt with sleeves that bunch up. The black colorway is extra cool.
You can never have enough black in your running wardrobe as it goes with everything and doesn’t show all the dirt and grime you accumulate.

.
The Rocker by Satisfy
(Satisfy)
After months of promo, Satisfy’s Rocker shoe finally came out.
The Rocker shoe is a game-changer for Trail Running, promising a unique experience on the trails.
There is no denying that this shoe looks super cool.
It’s got an asymmetrical lacing patter akin to a climbing shoe and proprietary tech all over that gives the shoe its Satisfy uniqueness.
I’m interested to hear how the S-Foam midsole holds up.
Seeing as this is the brand’s first shoe, I’m sure they’ll continue to improve and offer us some innovative models to look forward to.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the Trail Running community as new products and technologies emerge.
